DAY 1: Kochi / Cochin
Upon arrival in Kochi, meet The India Tourism tour representative who will assist your transfers to the hotel. In the evening, enjoy the Harbour Cruise of Kochi, which is one of the finest natural harbours in the world. Enjoy the spectacular scenery of Marine drive, Chinese fishing nets, Willington Island and Kochi Harbour. This heritage city, Kochi once established strong commerce and trade relations with the British, Arabs, Chinese, Portuguese and Dutch etc. Overnight in Kochi.
Day 2: Kochi
Morning begin the sightseeing of Kochi including a visit to Mattanchery Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, Chinese Fishing Nets alongside Fort Kochi and St. Francis Church etc. Afternoon is free at leisure. In evening, witness the Classical Kathakali dance performance at Kochi Cultural Center. Overnight in Kochi
Day 3: Kochi - Guruvayur(Calicut)
In morning, drive to Guruvayur from Kochi (2 ½ hr). This is a revered temple town known for Guruvayur Sree Krishna Temple, the fourth biggest temple in India. (Non Hindus Not Allowed) Walk around the temple to witness the small colourful shops. In afternoon, visit Punnathoorkotta, the home of 50 temple elephants offer unusual spectacle for a tourist. These temple elephants are decorated for the various festivals and most important of them are Thrissur, Pooram at Trichur when 30 caparisoned elephants decorated with gold ornaments line up on opposite sides and traditional music (Panchvadhyam) is played. Overnight in Guruvayoor.
Day 04: Guruvayur - Athirappilly - Vazhachal - Munnar
In morning, leave Guruvayoor for Munnar (185 km / 5 hr). Enroute visit the gushing Athirappilly and Vazhachal waterfalls of Kerala. On arrival in Munnar, check in at hotel.
Day 05: Munnar
In morning, visit Eravikulam National Park, the home of the Nilgiri Tahr (a rare mountain goat). The highest mountain of South India's Western Ghats, Anaimudi is also within the limits of this national park. Afternoon is free at leisure (optional visit to Kunnakkamalai Tea estate by jeep). Overnight in Munnar.
Day 06: Munnar - Periyar
Leave Munnar next morning for Periyar (120 km / 4 hr), the most scenic plantation destination in Kerala. It is indeed a mesmerizing retreat while tourists are driven through the fragrant tea and spice plantations against the backdrop of green and blue hills. In afternoon, take a Boat safari in Lake Periyar inside the Periyar National Park. Overnight in Periyar.
Day 07: Periyar - Kumarakom
Leave Periyar this morning for drive towards Kumarakom (130 km / 3 hr), an enchanting backwater destination situated characterized by the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary on the islets of Vembanad Lake. In the evening, enjoy the sunset cruise on lake after visiting Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary. Overnight in a resort.
Day 08: Kumarakom - Alleppey (House Boat)
Check out from the resort to experience one of the most awaited moments during Kerala Hill Station Tour over a backwater stretch on a Deluxe Kettuvallam, modelled on a traditional make of houseboats. This Kettuvallam allows tourists to sail through and snake their way out through the most beautiful backwaters towards Alleppey. They can also observe the minimalistic life in the rural villages, rice fields and other attractive happenings of the day aboard this timeless cruise. All meals will be served on board. Overnight in the houseboat.
Day 09: Alleppey - Trivandrum - Kovalam
Disembark at Alleppey and continue the drive to Kovalam (165 km / 3 hr). Enroute visit Thiruvananthapuram, the ancient city and capital of Kerala for local sightseeing. Continue Thiruvananthapuram City Tour through a visit to the richest temple in the world - Sri Padmanabhaswamy Temple, Kuthiramalika Palace, Napier Museum and Srichithra Art Gallery. Check in at the beach resort in Kovalam. Evening is free to relax on the beach. Overnight in Kovalam.
Day 10: Kovalam
After the active destinations of Kerala Hill Station Tour, tourists get a chance to relax on the alluring seashore of Kovalam, characterized by three beaches – Lighthouse, Hawah and Samudra. Each beach is unique in its nature and space, providing a nice retreat option for tourists. Day is free to relax on the beach. Overnight in Kovalam.
Day 11: Kovalam - Kanyakumari - Kovalam
Continue the Kerala Hill Station Tour for another milestone destination of India – Kanyakumari. Also known as Cape Comorin, this marks the end of Indian subcontinent and is characterized as a meeting point of three seas - Arabian Sea, Indian Ocean and Bay of Bengal on the tip of the peninsular India. Enroute Kanyakumari, visit Padmanabhapuram Palace, the seat of Travancore rulers remarkably known for its wooden works. Explore the unique beach territory with a visit to Kanyakumari Temple, Gandhi Memorial and Vivekananda Memorial in Kanyakumari. Evening visit the spectacular sunset and drive back to Kovalam hotel.
Day 12: Kovalam - Trivandrum
Drive to Trivandrum airport (17 km) and connect your international flight for home. (Hotel Checkout 12:00 Hrs).
