Day 01 Arrival Delhi
Upon arrival traditional welcome & transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 02 Delhi - Jaipur
After breakfast drive to Pink City, Jaipur, the splendorous capital of Rajasthan. With attractive monuments, comfortable hotels and numerous shopping places, Jaipur is a visitor's delight. Upon arrival, you will be met by our representative and transferred to the Hotel. Rest of the Day at leisure. Overnight at hotel.
Day 03 Jaipur
Today, after breakfast we drive to the ancient capital of Amber, laying 11 km. away from Jaipur. We will ascend to the Palace Fortress on the back of an Elephant. Enroute to Amber we will visit the Hawa Mahal (Palace of the Winds), that contains 953 small casements with each having its own balcony. On return, we will visit carpet manufacturing unit and gemstone jewellery manufacturing unit.
The art of carpet weaving is age old in Rajasthan and Jaipur is renowned centre of this art. There are thousand of the families in and around Jaipur who are specialized in one or another particular design and surviving on this artwork. The hand woven carpets of Jaipur are quite popular and collectable. Jaipur is the main centre and big hub for the Semi-precious and precious Gemstone and Jewellery. There are numerous big and small units of gemstone cutting and polishing and jewellery making. The workers working in these units are traditional artisans who have been practicing this art from generations. Along with observing the manufacturing technique you can also make purchases from these units. It ensures the quality of product and safe your time and money as well. Overnight at hotel.
Day 04 Jaipur – Agra
Today we leave Jaipur, and drive through a series of fields, small towns and villages in direction of Agra. Enroute we make a stop and visit Fatehpur Sikri, which was once an imperial capital frozen in time, constructed by Akbar the Great in the 16th century. This wonderful city constructed by red sand stones was abandoned as abruptly as it had been built. It has been generally stated that it was due to failing in the water supply. Late evening arrival in Agra. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at hotel.
Day 05 Agra
We will start our day visit to the most beautiful monument of India, the Taj Mahal, an enduring monument of love, with a continually fulfilling beauty. It was built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan between 1631-52, as a tomb and memorial to his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. Later visit to renowned carpet manufacturing unit. Agra has amongst the oldest tradition of carpet and durrie making in India and exhibits the finest representation of what is available in India. Silk carpets with gold threadwork are forte of Agra. We will also observe marble and soft stone inlay work which is another specialty of Agra. Shop these exquisite items from these units and safe your time and money as well. Overnight at hotel.
Day 06 Agra – Delhi
In the morning after having breakfast we drive to Delhi. Arrival in Delhi in the afternoon. The rest of the day will be spent on shopping. We will make visit to craft production unit and other interesting shopping places with company's representative and shop for desired goods. Overnight at hotel.
Day 07 Delhi – Varanasi
Morning transfer to airport for flight to Varanasi. Upon arrival, you will be met by our representative and transferred to the Hotel. After a break in the Hotel we go for the sightseeing of the city of Varanasi including the visit to main temples of the city.
Optional: A drive can be organized to Sarnath (10 km). Sarnath is the place where Buddha delivered his first sermon at deer park. Overnight at hotel.
Day 08 Varanasi - Delhi
In the early morning we take a boat ride on the holy river Ganges and enjoy sunrise on the boat. Ghats (flight of steps) and the activities of pilgrims on that are the principal attraction for visitors to Varanasi. After a break in the Hotel we go for shopping.
Varanasi is famous for fine silk weaving and brocades. Banarasi silk sarees are popular for rustle of silk, the sheen of pure gold, the magical weave. We will make visit to a Silk sarees-manufacturing unit where you can observe the production of fine silk sarees, interact with local artisans and shop the glittering Banarasi sarees for you and your dear ones. Varanasi is also famous for gold and silver brocades, an ancient weaving tradition of India. You can also buy beautiful brocades for dresses and home furnishings from Varanasi. Late afternoon transfer to airport for flight to Delhi. Overnight at Delhi.
Day 09 Delhi – Onwards
Today we have half day sight seeing tour of Old Delhi including the visit to Raj Ghat, the Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk, etc. Later transfer to airport for flight to home. End of our services.
