November is a wonderful month for planning a holiday in India. The weather is cool and dry, and the mood is festive. Continuing from the fervor of festivals in October, the spirits remain high as there are many cultural and religious festivals in November as well. India is the breeding ground of numerous religions and cultures. Each of these brings with it myriad celebrations in form of cultural events and religious festivals, spread across the year. 1) Sonepur Mela
Sonepur Mela is one of Asia’s largest cattle fair, and is the pride of northern Bihar. The fair is held on the banks of the river Ganga, at the confluence with its tributary, Gandak. Not only cattle, but different breeds of dogs, elephants, birds and camelsare also sold at this fair. The fair takes place on the auspicious dates of Kartik Poornima full moon day in the month of November every year. People come from far-away places just to take part in this fair.

2) Chandrabhaga Fair Odisha
Chandrabhaga Mela is the most popular festival which falls in the month of February at Odisha. This day is specifically set aside for the worship of the Sun God at Konark. Although the temple is reduce to rubble, even today thousands of pilgrims gather at Konark annually on the Magha Sukla Saptami, the day of Spring Festival, to commemorate the new birth of the Sun God. Chandrabhaga Fair is one such marvellous view that truly earns the attention of the tourists. This fair acquaints all travellers, pilgrims and explorers the same, with the rituals and traditions practiced in this area of the nation. The second largest festival in Odisha, following the Car Festival of Puri, it is the most colourful and pulsating festival noted.

3) Guru Nanak Jayanti
The festivals Guru Nanak Jayanti is specially celebrated by the religions Sikhism. It is a celebration of the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. The all Sikh community across the world memorize this day by taking out processions, reciting hymns and reading the Guru Granth Sahib (a holy book). It is celebrated on a full moon day in the month of Kartik (month of October or November) according to the Hindu calendar. Guru Nanak was the first of the 10 Sikh gurus as well as the founder of the Sikhism religion

4) Rann Utsav
Rann of Kutch festival also called as Kutch Festival or Just Rann Utsav, A Three month Long Celebration held at the edge of White Rann. 5) Pushkar Fair
The name 'Pushkar Fair' and "Pushkar ka mela" gets many buyers both in India and the World as a whole. India, being a country of age old religions, countless temples and shrines and the rituals attached to them is home to thousands of fairs that occupy every season in a calendar year. Pushkar fair is one of the most biggest event in india. And for a fair in India, it takes to be much more than just average to stand out. The significance of Pushkar Fair is many faceted which is closed intertwined with the unique features of the town of Pushkar. 6) Sangai Festival
Every year the State of Manipur celebrates the “Manipur Sangai Festival” from 21st to 30th November. The ‘Festival’ is named after the State animal, Sangai, the brow-antlered deer found only in Manipur. It started in the year 2010 and has grown over the years into a big platform for Manipur to showcase its rich tradition and culture to the world. The festival is labeled as the grandest festival of the State today and helps promote Manipur as a world class tourism destination. Every edition of the festival showcases the tourism potential of the state in the field of Arts & Culture, Handloom, Handicrafts, Indigenous Sports, Cuisine, Music and Adventure sports of the state etc. The festival will reflect the State’s proud cultural heritage and the love for art which is inherent amongst various tribes inhabiting the State of Manipur. The State’s classical dance form, ‘Ras Leela’ is quite famous all over the world for its distinctiveness from any other dance forms in India.
