Day 01: Arrival in Delhi / Jaipur
We will pick you up from Delhi Airport, then proceed to Jaipur—the "Pink City"—a dream destination for today's travelers just as it was for the merchants of yesterday. It is named for the pink sandstone used to construct its palaces. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel. The afternoon is free for independent activities.
Day 02: Amber / Jaipur
Breakfast at the hotel, followed immediately by a visit to Amber Fort, located 11 km from Jaipur—an imposing fortress representing the Rajput civilization. To ascend the final stretch to the fort, you will ride upon the backs of placid elephants, almost as if reenacting the ancient exploits of the Maharajas. Inside the walls, you will visit palaces and pavilions of exquisite beauty, as well as the small but precious temple dedicated to the Goddess Kali. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 03: Bikaner
Departure for Bikaner, a city situated within the vast Thar Desert. In the afternoon, visit Junagarh Fort—a UNESCO World Heritage Site—ranked among the most beautiful fortresses in the world thanks to its exquisite sculptural artistry. After the visit, transfer to your hotel and check in. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 04: Jaisalmer
After breakfast, depart for Jaisalmer, traversing nearly the entire expanse of the Thar Desert right up to the western border with Pakistan. In our opinion, Jaisalmer represents the most exotic—the most "Arabian Nights"—destination of the entire journey. Stop en route to visit Gadi Sagar Lake. Arrival and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 05: Desert / Jaisalmer
After breakfast, visit the fortified citadel and its palaces. Particular care will be devoted to its numerous temples and *havelis*—such as Nathmal Ji Ki Haveli, Salim Singh Ki Haveli, and Patwon-Ji-Ki-Haveli. In the afternoon, enjoy an excursion to admire the sunset over the dunes of the Thar Desert from camelback, guided by local Bedouins clad in their fascinating cloaks. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 06: Jodhpur
Breakfast, followed by departure for Jodhpur—the "Blue City"—a town situated on the edge of the Thar Desert, characterized by walls featuring eight gates that enclose its historic quarter. Visit the imposing Mehrangarh Fort. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 07: Ranakpur / Udaipur
After breakfast, depart for Udaipur—the "White City"—widely considered the most romantic city in Rajasthan. Stop en route to visit the Jain temples at Ranakpur—a true masterpiece of marble inlay craftsmanship created by the artisans of the era. Overnight stay in Udaipur.
Day 08: Udaipur
Breakfast at the hotel, followed by a tour of the "White City" (also known as the "City of Dawn"), including the City Palace (which remains the residence of the Maharaja) and its museum, as well as the Sahelion Ki Bari—the royal garden that once served the Harem. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat excursion on Lake Pichola to visit the Jag Mandir temple. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 09: Chittorgarh / Pushkar
Continue the journey toward Pushkar—a sacred city renowned for its Camel Fair, held during the full moon between October and November. In the evening, visit the sacred lake and its *ghats*, as well as the only temple in India dedicated to the god Brahma. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 10: Fatehpur Sikri / Agra
After breakfast, depart for Agra. Next, proceed to the "Ghost Capital" of Fatehpur Sikri—built by the enlightened Mughal Emperor, Akbar—which was eventually abandoned and the capital relocated back to Delhi due to water supply issues in this extremely arid region. Splendid temples and palaces remain, though they are now inhabited by monkeys and parrots. The afternoon is dedicated to visiting Agra. The Taj Mahal is one of the Seven Wonders of the World—a magnificent dream in marble, rising amidst a lush garden like a pearl within an immaculate landscape. Check-in and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 11: Gwalior / Orchha
After breakfast in the morning, proceed to Orchha. En route, visit Gwalior—a city featuring beautiful sites and temples—located in Madhya Pradesh, 199 km from Orchha. Arrive in Orchha and check in at your hotel. Begin your tour of Orchha with visits to the Jehangir Mahal, Raj Mahal, and Rai Parveen Mahal, as well as the Chaturbhuj, Ram Rajya, and Lakshminarayan temples. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 12: Khajuraho
After breakfast, depart for Khajuraho, a destination renowned worldwide for the temples built by the Chandella dynasty. Arrive in Khajuraho and check in at your hotel. Begin your tour by visiting the Eastern and Western groups of temples within the complex, famous for their bas-reliefs and sculptures with erotic themes. The Kandariya Mahadev Temple is the most famous of all the structures present. These temples showcase the more erotic and sensual side of ancient India. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 13: Khajuraho (Satna) to Varanasi by Day Train
After breakfast in the morning, proceed to the Satna railway station to board the train to Varanasi. Arrive in Varanasi in the evening, where our driver will meet you and provide a transfer to your hotel for check-in and relaxation. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 14: Varanasi and Varanasi to Delhi by Flight
Wake up early in the morning for a boat ride on the Ganges, a river held sacred by Hindus. Whether from the boat or while walking along the ghats (steps), you will witness numerous pilgrims performing rituals, chanting, and offering gifts to the sacred river. You will catch the scent of incense and breathe in the city's spiritual atmosphere as the sun rises high in the sky. Return to the hotel for a lunch break.
