Day 1 : Delhi – Khajuraho (by overnight train)
You will be picked up from your place of stay in Delhi and in time transferred to New Delhi railway station to board Khajuraho-bound train - U P Sampark Kranti Express (train number- 12448) that departs at 20:10 hrs. It will be an overnight journey.
Day 2 : Khajuraho sightseeing
The train reaches Khajuraho station at 06:35 hrs. You will be received by representative of India Tourism and duly transferred to the hotel to relax and refresh. Full day guided sightseeing tour of Khajuraho will involve visiting temples of Khajuraho - architectural and sculptural gems. These temples have been grouped into western, eastern and southern clusters of temples. Among more than 20 temples, the western group of temples are really grandiose, well-preserved and intricately sculptured. Kandariya Mahadeo Temple, Chitragupt Temple, Laxman Temple etc are prominent monuments. In the evening, enjoy watching sound and light show. Overnight stay is scheduled in Khajuraho hotel.
Day 3 : Khajuraho – Orchha (by car) – Agra (by train)
Having enjoyed scrumptious breakfast in Khajuraho hotel, depart for Agra. This journey will be in two parts. From Khajuraho to Jhansi will be travelled by car, en route visiting historical town of Orchha. Orchha is known for its gargantuan fort, highly venerable temples, palaces and sleepy yet lively with its cultural legacy. On guided sightseeing tour visit Orchha Fort, Raja Ram Temple, Jahangir Mahal etc. Late afternoon, board train for Agra. On arrival at Agra, you will be received by our representative and given transfer to Agra hotel to have overnight stay therein.
Day 4 : Agra – Delhi - Departure
At the time of sunrise, when Taj Mahal looks most beautiful, you will be taken to the monument of love, accompanied by a professional and friendly guide. Visit the poetry in white marble, as Taj Mahal is popularly called. Soak in its sublime beauty and serenity. Later, return to hotel to refresh and have breakfast. Timely check out from hotel and again proceed on for guided sightseeing of Agra that will include exploration of market and visit to Agra Fort & Tomb of It Mad ud Daulah. Shopping in Agra is a nice experience. Post lunch, you will be driven towards New Delhi. On arrival at Delhi, you will be transferred to either the hotel of your stay or at airport to board flight for onward destination.
