Day 1: Arrival at Visakhapatnam
On the day of arrival at Vizag, Alkof Holidays representative will welcome you at the Visakhapatnam Airport or railway station and transfer you to the hotel. Rest and relax at the hotel, later proceed for sightseeing of Visakhapatnam, visit Bheemli, Thotlakonda, Rushikonda Beach, Kailashgiri. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2: At Visakhapatnam (Excursion trip to Annavaram – Sankaram/Bojjannakonda)
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to Annavaram for darshan of the temple of Veera Venkata Satyanarayana, a form of Lord Vishnu on the Ratnagiri Hill, it is one of the most famous holy shrines in India and enjoying second place after Tirupati in Andhra Pradesh. After darshan at Annavaram, Proceed Back To Vizag. On the way, halt to visit Sankaram, also known as Bojjannakonda. An interesting aspect of the Bojjannakonda finds is that they feature all the three phases of Buddhism: Hinayana, Mahayana and Vajrayana. A stairway leads to a large double-storeyed cave on a hill. The rectangular cave has a doorway and is flanked by ‘dwarapalakas' on either side, visit the rock-cut stupa, standing on a square platform, at the centre of the cave. A series of rock-cut caves and monolithic structures standing on rock platforms are seen on the northern side of the hill. Later, visit the Simhachalam Temple situated on a hilltop, this is a beautiful temple with 16 delicately carved pillars. Overnight stay at the hotel in Visakhapatnam.
Day 3: Visakhapatnam – Borra Caves – Araku Valley (By Train)
Early in the morning, our representative will transfer you to the railway station for your onward journey to Borra Caves. Enjoy the train journey passing through 40 tunnels, bridges and wonderful landscapes. Upon arrival at Araku Valley, our representative will receive you and transfer you to the hotel. Rest and relax at the hotel, later visit Araku Valley – a beautiful valley with picturesque waterfalls and gardens, where you can indulge in leisure activities. Also visit Borra caves, Galikonda viewpoint, Ananthagiri, Araku tribal museum, and Padmapuram gardens. Overnight stay at the hotel in Araku Valley.
Day 4: Araku Valley – Visakhapatnam (120 Km/3 Hours)
After breakfast at the hotel, drive back to Visakhapatnam by car. Enroute visit Tyda and Simhachalam, later continue drive to Vizag. Upon arrival, Alkof Holidays representative will transfer you to the railway station or to the Visakhapatnam airport to board the flight to your home or onward destination.
