Bhoraji Ka Kund, Bundi

Bhoraji-ka-Kund is one of an amazing step wells which was constructed in 16th century situated in Bundi, usually it turns as the house of various birds and many other species especially after monsoon season. .Literally Kund means a pond or tank and Bhoraji-ka-Kund were constructed in the ancient days as a source of water to the drought hit city of Bundi. Bundi is also famous for its large number of age old step-wells (locally called baoris). The step-wells that have been maintained till today are the Nagar Sagar Kund, Raniji ki Baori, and Nawal Sagar.
One of the prominent tourist attractions is a temple of Lord Varuna (God of Rains), half submerged in the water of the Nawal Sagar lake. The visitors, who want to see that temple, must go by boat.
